Heatwave Racers Rewards and How to Play

The first special event of the new Monopoly Go season, Summer Escape, is Heatwave Racers. Compete in this event for a chance to win a cool retro Hot Rod board token as well as purple and blue sticker packs.

Starting at 1:20 PM ET on July 2nd and running until around 4 PM ET on July 6th 2025, the first day of this event is reserved fot getting into your teams or deciding to go solo, then it’s off to the races.

Below you’ll find an overview of what we expect to see in Heatwave Racers and a recap of how to play racer games in Monopoly Go.

As with all racer games on Monopoly Go there are loads of rewards that can be won in Heatwave Racers, but the one everyone will be shooting for is the first prize in the championship. This is determined by how many medals your team has won at the end of the whole event. Medals are given for your teams placing at the end of a race, and there are three races in total. One per day with the final race being for double points.
